Wikipedia Day 2012
If you are interested to participate in the organisation of Wikipedia Day 2012, just write your name below, with your preferred way of communication and what you are ready to do. Participation could be from becoming a member of the organisation committee to help just during the 3 days of conference.
The location remains to be defined but the main idea is to be hosted by a French-speaking university such as Neuchâtel, Lausanne or Geneva. Previous WPD editions have taken place in Zurich, then Lugano and Bern.

Mailinglist
Structure
2 days of conferences organized in one topic per half-day. Each half day will comport 2 to 3 conferences and one interactive session (open debate or workshop or round table). For the moment, 5 topics are suggested :
- Relation with the general public (including general presentation of Wikipedia, related projects and Wikimedia CH and its projects)
- GLAM relations
- Relation with the academical world (especially sciences)
- Relation with the media
- "Wiki loves monuments" Swiss contest (experiences made in 2011)
Permanent booth to inform about Wikimedia and the conferences.
