Selection and digitalization of essential bibliography of Alps (in collaboration with LabisAlp)
The LabiSAlp is a scientific center of research focused in the study of Alps. It is composed by a committee of researchers and teachers from different countries (Switzerland, Italy, France, etc.).
The project is composed by five phases:
- Poll to select the most important books and studies concerning the Alps (published before 1945) (the selection committee will be composed by the researchers of LabiSAlp)
- Contact libraries in order to found and digitalize the books
- Digitalization of books
- Publication in Wikisource
- Media promotion of the project
The budget (20.000 - 50.000 CHF) will cover these costs:
- a person dedicated to the project in order to collaborate with the Laboratorio di Storia delle Alpi to organize the poll, to collect the results, to contact the libraries and to help in the upload
- digitalization of the books
- organize local events to promote the project in media and in the newspapers
