People raising of minor languages communities (Swiss Italian and Rumantsch languages)
Project scope
The Swiss-Italian community contributing in Wikipedia is active and composed by several editors, in the other hand the local wikimedian community is losing members attracted by other projects. The same happens also for the Rumantsch community. The idea is to experiment a local system of advertising in order to attract volunteers and to revitalize the local Wikimedian community.
The project will be managed in different steps.

- Advertising and promotions in local newspapers
- Start new projects for rumantsch language (http://rm.wikisource.org and http://rm.wiktionary.org) in collaboration with local associations

Description
The 1st step will be focused in Ticino to create a new communication and a new material to attract wikimedians.
The 2nd step will be focused to have this advertising campaign.
The 3rd step will be focused to meet new members.

In the first phase there is the preparation of some materials. Mainly business cards, booklets and posters.
The campaign will be held through: a) newspaper: Xtra and Piazza del Popolo, two inserts of local newspapers b) websites: www.tio.ch (for one week) c) Cinema: before any program transmitted on the screen, 10 seconds for one month d) Posters: for one town in 5 places
After this period there will be an analysis to check the better way to have this campaign.
