Help us making the world a more open place! We are looking forward to your donation, which helps to operate the Wikimedia projects and to relate them to Switzerland.
All the projects that we support are free from advertisements. Visitors are not charged to edit, read or use the content. We rely entirely on your donations to support keeping the servers running, improve the software and attract editors to maintain the quality of the content.

If you'd like to make a donation by payment slip, we can send you one or more preprinted payment slips. Please fill in the form below, or send us a short email with your postal address to fundraiser@wikimedia.ch. Of course you can also use an empty payment slip which you get at every post office and fill it manually. EmailForm is only active on protected pages.
Donations by credit card
Feel also free to directly donate to the Wikimedia Foundation, which accepts PayPal, or your local chapter of the Wikimedia association. Please note that donations to those organisations are not tax deducible in Switzerland.

Receipts
We send donation certificates (for tax purposes, etc.) at the beginning of the year if your donation was above 200 CHF (tax offices generally do not require a certificate for donations below this amount; if you need one nevertheless, we will gladly send it to you). However, in order to do so, your complete address needs to be visible on the donation. If you need to receive an immediate confirmation for some reason, please contact us with as many details about your donation (address, date, sum) as possible! If you have questions concerning donations please contact us.
Tax deducibility
Your donations are tax deductible in Switzerland, as Wikimedia CH has been recognised as charitable association (see the letters of the cantonal tax offices).
